After finishing his teacher training (2010, Artevelde Hogeschool) Jasper Delbecke (° 1988) graduated as Master in Art Science: Theatre and Performance Studies (2014, Universiteit Gent).

His masterthesis (Memories can wait: een geschiedfilosofisch onderzoek naar de hedendaagse herinneringsmechanismen in relatie tot het huidige podiumkunstenlandschap en een aanzet tot een herinneren als emancipatorisch denken, promotor: prof. Dr. Christel Stalpaert / co-promotor: Dr. Frederik Le Roy) focussed on the ambiguous and paradoxical attitude towards our past and future. Since February 2015 he is affiliated researcher at Universiteit Gent. As a dramaturge he worked with Martin Schick (CH) and Benjamin Vandewalle. He is assisting Sarma (Laboratory for discursive practices and expanded publication) and Kaaitheater on their ‘Anthologie Marianne Van Kerkhoven’ –project.
